Sharam Tayebi mans the turntables as one half of the Grammy award winning DJ production duo Deep Dish. Characterized by a harder style than his partner Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia, Sharam performs as Deep Dish featuring Sharam, when he takes to the road to deliver his signature half of the distinct Deep Dish sound.
Aside from his DJ/production duties, Sharam stays busy as co-owner, along with Ali, of Deep Dish Records, Yooshi Recordings, and Shinichi Recordings. Collectively, the three labels are known for carrying some of the very best dance music in the world.

I've always wondered why Crobar in Chicago doesn't bring some of the former residents of Crobar NYC
Boris and Victor Calderone both had solid residencies at Crobar NYC. |

I saw that girl again that I mentioned was with Sharam last time he was here: short blond hair, pale, wearing a dark blue dress, very petite. She stayed by his side most of the night watching him mix or talking to fans when they wanted his attention and taking pictures of the crowd all night.
Does she work with him or something? I can only find a couple of pictures from the Crobar site. Its the same girl, I recognize her face...she seems really really nice but looked a little protective of Sharam sometimes, especially when people's hands were getting too close to his stuff.
She seems to appear in the background of his pictures sometimes. Just curious if anyone knows her or if she lives around here. I know it sounds creepy, but I'm just curious! |

I worked at Crobar for this event and was in the DJ booth for most of the night.
She was a very modest, quite person and didn't really seem to know anyone in the booth, but I didn't want to be rude and ask who she knew either.
We said hello to each other and she was nice. I also remember her in the booth when we did the Dubfire event at crobar as well.
Who knows.. |
