I got a new phone last night. This phone is freaking badass, way better than the iphone. skinny to fit in my pocket, all touch screen with some crazy gadgets on it, qwerty keyboard on screen, great sound, handwriting recognition and when it had a 3.2 megapixel camera with a bright flash - I was sold! I walked into Verizon, and they hadn't put them on the sales floor yet. They just got them in. Everyone at work is playing with it today.

I'll probably trade in my LG Shine for the Dare.
I'd choose the LG Dare over the Iphone 3G any day.

I have played with the iphone...yeah, it's cool. alright.
But the LG Dare really impressed me. It's freaking WAY better than the iphone. I love this damn thing.
fun stuff - instead of typing in phone numbers or typing messages, I can write it on the screen and it changes it to text. And I got a txt message from Jayson, a chicks voice said "Text Message from Jayson" Before I know it, it will be ironing my clothes for me lol
not only that, but I love this camera on here
3.2 megapixel with bright flash(can turn off, on, or on auto), with shutter speed settings, face recognition, and many other crazy options. I can use this camera in a dark club - woot!
skinnier than an iphone and fits in my back pocket easily, which is where i"m used to sticking them.

I got a fat fone with a missing face piece but I love it so much bcos of the querty keyboard buttons. :(
Its not pretty but it keeps me happy right now so I have no plkans on switching.
Did anyone get their hands on the new iphone ?? I hear they were sold out within an hour around here. |

iphone > all other phones currently out.
simply b/c it has an OS and is constantly growing due to applications being developed for it. Unlike most other phones out there that are closed. All in all it boils down to what you use it for. Therefore I'm not buying into the hype of getting one at the moment.

| I'm happy with my Blackjack II. :) I will say this, I'm never going to get another phone with out e-mail/internet. I LOVE the fact I actually use my person e-mail again (via my cell phone). |

I'm at a damn computer all day long. not only that, but there is a PC and 3 laptops currently in my apartment. I have no need to turn my phone into a PC at all.
I definitely can get online and surf and check email on my phone, but I definitely don't need it, so I wont be using it.
And it seems like everyone has the damn iphone these days. I'm a big Apple fan, but damn. Just a bunch of sheep standing in line for something that everyone already has. I got something people haven't seen before - score bragging points. I don't care what yal say! :p |
