Getting insurance is a headache, especially since I've got roommates.

Anybody know of the good ones, who to stay away from?

Thanx.

I don't see how it's possible to use the words: "Good" and "Insurance" in the same context! lol

LOL. I just got my RIBO license, so I'm gonna suggest my company TD Meloche Monnex, however, they usually deal with high end clients (big shots). Hey it's worth calling for a quote anyway. You should shop around ;)

TD meloch mennex offers group insurance... it's not insurance for "big shots" LOL

ie: you have to work for certain companies, be involved with certain organization or be allum from certain schools that they've partnered with.

check out RBC insurance. Before i settled on a scooter for the summer I was shopping for a car. RBC's quotes were significantly lower than anyone elses.

Thanks! BTW it's tenants insurance I'm looking for.

It all depends on what you are looking for from the insurance company. If you are just looking for cheap insurance then your best bet is to go with a direct writer like Belair or TD. If you are looking for good service you are probably better off going through a broker who can always help you out if you are having problems with the claim service you are getting. Aviva Insurance has a claims satisfaction policy where you get all your premium back if the claim service is ty.

With Tenant's Insurance its going to be fairly cheap no matter who you are with....probably not more then $100-$150 a year
