What up....
Just wanted to let you know... about 3 hours ago I was hitting cars
in Hollywood and I got robbed at knifepoint and one of the guys
punched me with brassknuckles. Luckily I didn't get stabbed but I was
pretty bloody and bruised up. I'm cool I just look like i got in a
fight. Haha! Oh well... They took a couple hundred bucks and my
sidekick. It could of been WAY worse...I could be in the hospital or
dead. So I may be MIA tomorrow until they send me a new phone on
Friday. Tell everyone that there are 3 to
4 guys and they have a homemade prison shank...NO JOKE..its was way
shady. It was at Highland and Selma by Mel's diner. I filed a police report and everything. Talk to you as soon as
I get a new phone. |

ugh i'm way too careless when i'm out and about in hollywood. i forget that there are sketchy peeps like that out there. sorry to hear about your friend, anyone we know??? hope he's ok. thanks for the warning |

wish there was a DARK KNIGHT to put these guys in their place...or at least a way for fellow promoters to contact each other or work with each other to help this not happening again...

Just one more reason I don't want to be doing street promo much longer. It's a risk people don't think about. It could happen to anyone, but as a street promo guy we generally travel alone and are out 3 to 6 night a week increasing the risk. This is the 3rd promo friend of mine to be robbed in the last year between Highland and Gower along Hollywood Blvd!
Becarefull guys.
Looks like I may just be going to the Mansion tonight. Car hits sound like a bad idea right now. |
