i think it's because BT is a given. kinda like that 'free space' on a bingo card.

One of the "new" up and comers that I have fallen in love with is Jaytech. He just released his first album of all-produced tracks called "Everything is OK" -- His tracks have depth and the basslines are absolutely sick. Production-wise it's magnificent but some people will argue that some new-school minimal stuff shows more expertise and craftmanship. But that stuff doesn't want me to get up and tear the roof off. Other producers I think are top notch and have been for awhile are, as mentioned BT, and of course PvD, possibly Nu-NRG and Blank and Jones, John Askew, Maor Levi, Niklas Harding, Jonas Steur, and definitely Sasha.

That album isn't the starter or the finisher. It is the album.
In every single track on the album there is loads going on and every little element compliments each other so perfectly.
The programming of the album is perfect too, Buidling up to open up and then ending with 21st century poem.

Yeah, i liked the music/production of that album too!
Bola is amazing in both production/musicianship followed by the usual IDM/Ambient/Elecronica suspects. |
