No I just can't stand it when people judge music by the date it was released as if it matters. Just try to word it out a little better next time. |
Yeah I'll get right on that. |

another awesome and timeless mix cd by Max. Track selection is damn good.
one of the VERY few dj's who has not genre jumped in the past 5 years.
He's still playing quality bangin' house that will get you movin'. |

Well, in all fairness he does tend to 'genre-jump' in his sets. Sometimes even playing some trance and banging techno. The end result is always ing ace. :o
But yeah, he's one of the few DJs who hasn't jumped on the flavor of the week bandwagon... |

have i missed something, or is this release not actually available at all to buy as an actual CD set? i can only find mp3's and that's it, can't even find a CD at all or a release date for one. does anyone know this? cos i really want to get it.
thanks.

You can get it here
You can also get it from the iTunes store. But apart from Armada, couldn't find it on CD format elsewhere... |

what i meant by that is that he hasn't jumped on the MINIMAL bandwagon like Dubfire, Steve Lawler , etc.
But yes, bangin' music is his style |

Well, I finally listened to both CDs b2b yesterday while stuck in traffic. Certainly made it more bearable :p
I really, really enjoyed this compilation. While it's not composed of exclusive, unreleased tracks (I can see many s complaining about that) it does feel fresh.
Both CDs are very different from each other, CD1 is very housey while CD2 is more trancey. Max said they had a warmup set kind of vibe, and while they do, they were a lot more banging than I expected to. Spot on mixing, awesome flow, and a very fun track selection make 'Cycles' one of my favorite compilations of this year.
