| But they're two separate acts. Mathew Jonson will play his own songs. So, no, you haven't seen Mathew Jonson. His last live set in LA was @ Compression in 2006. |

at a cobblestone jazz show, they play cobblestone jazz songs, at a mathew jonson show, he plays mathew jonson songs.
he's one of the biggest, and certainly the most consistent live act of the past 4 years.
as was posted above, this will be his first live set in l.a. in quite some time, and also his only u.s. appearance on this tour/this summer/fall. |

I've never heard of this guy but I am flying into LA the 25th. This guy sounds badass from what I've heard on youtube...

his tracks like marionette, decompression, folding spaces, symphony for the apocolypse were all major releases, and obviously the cobblestone jazz collaborations are also widely enjoyed. as i said been one of the most consistent artists of the past 4 years.
that weekend will be pretty great for live electronic music
