and for a boat...never had a wait for the bathroom...totally worked out

Agreed, that for sure is one of the most important things. Thankfully it wasn't an issue.

The Boat was a lot of fun...only complaint was how long it took to board that thing...i woudl have felt better if they had nnounced that they were waiting for omid and demi...but there was none of that...but on the boat....pretty good vibe...man that top floor shook hard back and forth at times...

as for desyn i really enjoyed his set...ill post some of the vids i took later...

great sounds for the boat and the weatehr turned out PERFECT...especially after that storm hit earlier in the day

yeah, it did take a long time to board. sorry about that. i just know that they were searching really hard this time at the door. this was for a couple of reasons... they had another party on the sister boat, the star of palm going on. so they had most of the security guards on the other boat and not ours. basically, they know that on our parties, there are never any fights, just problems with illicit substances. so if you were able to get past security, you were able to have a great time on the boat without huge guys in black breathing down your neck! for THAT i was supremely thankful for. i think you guys can agree! ;)

I agree that the opener (didn't realize it was Mono H.) was rediculous. His track selection was a little inconsistent but none the less every track was just dirty so I thoroughly enjoyed it. :happy2:

Can't wait to hear this recording from LPR...post that thing NOW. :D

thanks. i'll let mono know what people are saying... i know he was excited to play this opening set. he's real close friends with all of SOS and has opened for them a bunch of times. he spent a LOONG time grabbing all kinds of music preparing for the night.

and thank god it didn't pour! we were really afraid it would, but when i woke up on saturday, the rain had already passed.

i will get a copy of LPR soon. i need to discuss with my partners on how to release it to the public. hang tight.

Definitely was a good time. Crowd was fun, nothing crazy. Everyone was there to party for the same reason. I didn't mean to flame about the bathroom situation. It wasn't a big deal honestly, and I'm glad those guys were smart enough to keep it safe for everyone. Kudos to them.

Anyone forget about how much of a pain it was to get back up if you went to the bathroom and left the top deck? :(

Yeah that was really annoying.

I was afraid to leave to go to the bathroom cuz I didn't want to wait to get back up.

Also was Desyn's set from the boat also recorded?
Legend
I didn't leave the top floor the whole time in fear of not getting back up.

Again, apologies to everyone for the wait to get back up top. We were literally at legal capacity on the boat (548 people) and there are 3 floors... if the top deck exceeds 200-250 people, problems develop with stability (as you noticed at one point, it was pretty severe). However, the wait to go back up was never longer than 5-10 mins, and thank you for those that were patient :)

And yes, Desyn's set was recorded and will likely be broadcast on our show on Sirius soon, and will be released publicly after that.

Thanks to everyone for a fantastic party...
