If you could DJ... (pg. 6)

While I wouldn't turn my nose up at the chance to play in a world-renowned (did someone say Womb in Tokyo?) venue, I don't really have aspirations of playing in front of thousands of people anymore. I'd be more than happy playing to 300-500 up-for-it souls on any number of the relatively unknown resort islands that can be found in and around Southeast Asia.

South American raves sound like a hoot, as well.

Which venue?
Last years or the Boddingtons Warehouse they had in 2006? Last years under the train station was quality although I had gripes with the soundsystem they had when I went to see Digweed and James Holden play there.

The beach at the Rainbow, Birmingham.

Filled with sand, 90% covered by a railway bridge, booth in a beach hut shed kinda thing.

Safe.

Definitely under the station--I agree that the sound setup wasn't ideal ( I was actually at the Holden, New Young Pony Club, etc show and thought it was OK for the DJs but pretty blaring during the live acts... ) Just a chance to DJ in a such a ravey (or at least idealized rave) setting would be fun.

Great thread topic. First club that comes to mind is Space Miami. Then it would be more along the lines of some type of outdoor gathering or warehouse in a big city. Oakie already did the Great Wall
