Thought i'd start a thread for the Paul Oakenfold sets that are rare or hard to find - please add from your collections : i'm particularly interested in any between 1997 and 2003.
From browsing the net a lot of sets have been posted on various forms by massive Oakey fan and internet legend "leonsv". I hope he doesn't mind me posting.
For me Oakey's been a true legend ever since his appearances at back to basics and tapes from the early 90's through to his residencey at Cream (I've fond memories of those annexe and courtyard nights) through to his ibiza sets at Amnesia, Pacha and Space.
Last year Oakey returned to Liverpool for his Perfecto anniversary tour and played a 2 hour set inspired by his Courtyard classics .. it was a truly amazing night - one of those times when each time you thought it couldn't get any better, an even more special track kicked through to take things to another level(culminating in the Grayed out summer mix of piledriver !). It proved that Paul can still create a unique and amazing night that few DJ's can get close to (if you don't believe me check out his recent Kiss100 ibiza mix).
