Hey guys/girls... David Choi here (www.myspace.com/djc200 add me!), one of the managing partners in Global Frequencies. I was going to post this up here today but it seems like someone beat me to it! Thanks to all electronic music lovers in NYC!! :)
Okay, just so you know, tickets are going really fast! I would not suggest that anyone wait for this. It's going to be like 5 people's b-day on this boat. One girl's is bringing 45 people for her b-day. INSANE. People flying in from as far as Canada, UK and California. So, ticket sales have been very healthy, to say the least! We haven't even sent out the press release and already half the tickets are sold.
Better get them now because I know for a FACT that there will be people at the boat asking to get on and I won't be able to do anything for them. Do not be lazy people! Takes just 5 min to secure your spot. http://www.wantickets.com/SOS
As for the afterparty... it's at a BRAND SPANKING NEW club just 8 blocks west of Pier 40, called LPR (www.lprnyc.com). The DJ booth is in the center, with the 360 circular dance floor. 800 person capacity and according to Sasha's sound engineer, the sound system is "WORLD-CLASS". As for the lineup, I'm not allowed to announce who the special guest DJ's are but rest assured, if you're coming to the SOS boat and want to hear more of the same and continue the madness, you're going to want to go to the afterparty. It's just $10 for everyone coming from the boat ($20 if you're not)!! You definitely don't want to be one of the few who hear later, "! "So and so" DJ ended up spinning the afters and it was siiiiick". Again, I can guarantee just one thing here... and that it's going to be insane.
