now that I upgraded my TV, I need to upgrade my home theater system (seeing as how its almost 10 years old lol)
Anyone here got any reccomendations on a good reciever?
I'm looking to go 7.1 and have been eyeing this pioneer elite
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/P...ivers/VSX-92TXH
But I've also heard good things about Harmon Kardon.
Anyone got any reccomendations or already own one? Thanks. |

I think this one would be reasonably priced. It's also a Pioneer.:clown: |

You can't go wrong with Denon for a good receiver. Look into Energy for your speakers. It'll cost a couple Large, but it's worth it.
For the Squares:
Large = Thousand |

wait a month, get the denon 2809 or 3809 when they come out.
For speakers, either 7 MartinLogan Helos 100s & an Abyss, or 4 Helos for rears, an Abyss, and 3 Passages for the fronts. If your studs are too close to fit a passage horizontally, just put a Fresco or Matinee on the wall for the center, instead. |
