Calvin Harris invented disco? No, Calvin Harris reinvented disco.
Calvin Harris is one of the hottest tips in new dance music for 2007. Having grown up in Dumfries, he’s burst from obscurity and his first single “Acceptable in the 80s" has been getting airplay on Radio One and a limited edition 10" sold out as fast as an off licence selling free booze. Being one of those 'myspace sensations' you keep reading about. He was wildly popular amongst The Kids and on The Club Scene, a cult producer-slash-singer-slash-bedroom-knob-twiddler who can make the banging-est of pop-dance tunes out of bugger-all kit has been going down a storm wherever he goes.
come see him DJ at Circa this August and find out for yourself what the hype was all about!
