ok i was playing the other nite and i started paying all kinds of stuff
im talking theme from norfjell airwave cream c'est musique
kiss(AIRSCAPE MIX) wahalla and all the good old classic tunes
at first i thought the crowd would be like (y the hell is he playing all this old stuff but i was wrong, they went nuts
people were coming up afterwards and telling me thanks for such a good set and for playing the GOOD OL STUFF
so i think my next few sets will be some old classics
what would u do if u heard a dj such as pvd or tiesto playing old songs
would u like it or not
me personally i think good music never dies so i would enjoy the hell out of it

The old ones are the best ones for sure.. PvD spun 'For An Angel' 2 weeks ago here in sydney and ive never seen punters go as crazy as this

Ye for an angel rokx, when he played it at his first NEC set, the place went mental!!!!!!

to be honest if i went to see some unknown dj with no reputation i would n't mind if he set was dominated by classics.

But if i paid 15 quid to see, say, PVD and he relied on older stuff, i'd be disappointed. i like to hear all the exclusive new stuff, that i wouldn't be able to hear elsewhere. EG last time i saw PVD he played this wicked new track which featured everything but the girl's song 'single' in the breakdown. Was definitely one of the tunes of the night!

i would love a set full of classics, they bring back memories and are all top notch

but d-jay MyTH has a point, its good to hear exlusive tunes from the likes of pvd

classic tunes makes me go
I think it's awesome when a dj slips a few classics in..
esp trax like for an angel and beyond time!
but too much of anything is harmful
:p

I think classics have a place in everyone's heart. I would go completely mental if I heard some classics at a club. I would love to hear some classics with all the great tracks that have been released this year. Right now I'm just enjoying all the great tunes that are coming out in record numbers in 2002. I'm in heaven.

the best is when you play a classic no one knows about, haha

I'm only now starting to collect trance vinyl and right now I'm getting my hands on classic tracks that no one ever hears anymore here in Toronto, so I'll still spin new , but I'll drop classics here and there to bring back memories and let the crowd feel it. But yeah, If I can just once get the chance to hear Lost Tribe - Gamemaster (original mix) live, I'll go berserk.
