Mogwai and buttons on the same night? wow, I've been a Mogwai fan for ages. Will not miss this.

Techno dates look mint. :D

I will be in Chicago the Civic holiday weekend. I wanted to check out Crobar, but doesn't look like there is much going on. I think I will end up going to see Moby. Any suggestions for a techno lover?

You will have more fun at every other club in chicago than you will in crowbar.

Vision, soundbar, spybar and smartbar are good places to start.

Crobar definitely at the bottom of the list IMO. Check out the others Glass mentioned.

Except for SoundBar. Dress relatively nicely (i.e. no tennis shoes) if you plan on going there.

We should also note that if you have table reservations, the dress code is null and void :p

I think you could do that even if we didn't have a table.

Me, on the other hand - well let's just say you've given me a great idea as to how I'm going to deal with excessively hot and humid clubs the rest of this Summer.

Also, if this is your first trip to Chicago (and at the risk of sounding like a tourist), it's really worth your while to just head down towards the lakefront (millenium park, etc.) and wander downtown.

take the time to go to millenium park for sure, its fantastic
