ambient music anyone?

| Hello anyone into ambient, meditation or chill-out music who is from Southern Ontario or Toronto? |

Now and then I'll put on some ambient. I seem to have a soft-spot for Pete Namlook / Geir Jenssen and their Fires of Ork (I and II).
I'd say II is my favorite, love the tracks A Way To Focus The Mind, In Heaven and Nouvelles Machines.
Toss that onto my stereo, draw a hot bath and turn off the lights - very relaxing. |

| I only listen to electronic music, so when I get sick of the harder music I always turn to ambient. I don't buy it, but mainly listen to stuff from the itunes radio stations. Perfect music for working too... |

Thought I wouldn't consider it 'ambient' per say, I listen to trip-hop/chillout on a pretty regular basis. It's close enough, so I'll list some good ones to grab.

ambient music is amazing. Sometimes you just need that perfect sound to fill the background to make a certain moment complete!
I never go on vacation without playing some of my chilled mixes as i enjoy a cohiba listening to the ocean at low tide as the sun sets over top :cool: |
