Anybody got any idea, how I can get this nice clean, bright sounding reverb on a clap? It just sounds so nice! I use Altiverb 6 BTW, so if anybody can recommend a preset, that would be great.

there a hihat at the same time, and the clap is slightly delayed from the "grid". other than that it seems like a normal clap.

Its more the reverb that I'm interested in its got a nice lovely bright feel to it.
Been told on KVR that arts acoustic would be the best to get this type of verb.

The timing on that clap is a little after the kick.

not that it will help you at all... and not that it will make the sound you like... but...
i so still use the legacy precomputed reverb b in FL Studio 8 all the way wet to do a fully gated type super wet reverb for my handclap.
sounds so sweet

I cant listen to the sample now, so this probably isn't exactly what you want, but if you want to brighten a reverb you could put any reverb on a send and then put an EQ or exciter after the reverb to brighten it up.

The reverb doesn't sound very bright to me...in fact it's possibly the opposite. It sounds like it has an enveloped lpf filter on it, which makes it sound slightly abnormal and thus stands out more.

Can you explain how I would set up an enveloped Low Pass please?

I can remember how to do it in reason, but I've lost touch with everything else so I don't know if I'll be able to help.
