Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, JUNIAH (pronounced JUNE-YA) has earned his way in becoming one of the most popular resident DJ’s at Toronto’s #1 hot spot, FLY NightClub.
Starting as a bartender at Fly back in 1999 and being surrounded by friends in “the biz”, JUNIAH was destined to learn a few tricks of the trade about how to please a crowd and mix music in a way that causes people to dance until sunrise.
JUNIAH latched onto his opportunity to slam his beats to the decks, gaining valuable experience and exposure which resulted in the development of his solid fan base, also landing him the opportunity to open for well known DJ’s like Brazil’s Ana Paula, Global DeeJay’s, Shawn Riker, Hector Fonseca, David Knapp, Jerry Ropero, Barry Harris, and Peter Rauhofer.
Delivering hot, sexy, dirty beats to the dance floor are one of the many factors people can’t get enough of this Canadian born DJ. Spinning various genres of House music including, Vocal House, Electro House, Progressive and Tribal JUNIAH is known for his distinctive rare findings that are captivating, keeping the JUNIAH dance floor energized for the duration of his performance.
