My Nokia 6030 (from the cingular days) has had a long run... but I want to replace it. My contact isn't up for another two years and I can't upgrade until March 2009. I was wondering if anyone knew any solid refurbished/unlocked cell phone stores in the midtown/manhattan area or helpful websites?
Gracias in advance. |

| ebay sells unlocked phones but usually for a higher price. First find out the phone you want then do the research and unlock it yourself. Its gonna be a pain in the ass filtering through all of the scam sites that want you to pay to get it unlocked but eventually you will stumble into the right forum where the members will post how to do it for free. |

| Craigslist is great for finding phones. I sold a Blackberry within 20 minutes, and you can agree with the seller where to meet up. |

Yes it is but you would have to pay a extra 200 at the Cinglar/Apple store so its comes up to 400 total |

| First lookup the phone in GSMarena.com or phonescoop.com and then you can get some good prices on eBay and almost every GSM phone (At&t,tmobile, cingular) sold there is unlocked just make sure that it has the GSM 850 frequency (what at&t uses) and ur good. On ebay u can find some really nice phones that are not carried by american cell phone companies. any other questions pm me |

| Thanks for the suggestions... I think i might just cancel my service and use my BB from work. Saves me $70 a month, so I'll make up the cancellation fee in no time! |
