Yeah well its Ghost and he's playing with nigel richards, im trying to throw together a pool party that saturday because naturally friday becomes saturday and i see no better way to wind friday down than with a pool party all day saturday. |

| oh yeah they play house at boutique, gotham, 101, and sharab also. There is also a new place thats going to open up next to speakeasy in the fall that will have some decent music |

| Ahhh Gainesville just isn't what it used to be. When I graduated in 03, the scene was pretty much dead. Once every 2 months, there would be a bigger name come through that was a good party, but the same ole e I just couldn't bare it. Boyd is a G-vill legend, but he was getting quite boring and playing stuff that just wasn't doing it. Never played big tracks that would bring out the EDM heads. House parties is where its at. Thats what we had to do! |

I beg to differ on the Boyd tip, he plays some of the best music, not to mention his mixing skills are second to none. The scene died because of the rave law, people just quit coming to shows. There is quality music in gainesville, but a horrific scene |

What the hell is Apartment Lounge ? I've been to both plasma and speakeasy, its just hard to get any of my friends to come with me. Its either they want to go to some hole garbage place like gator city or XS or something (ing hate those places), or they don't want to go anywhere. I've gone out alone before.., but it just seems awkward in gainesville
And by good I mean anything that isnt top 40 remixes, or they played in party 93.1, or happy hardcore, etc. I can't be too picky in gville. |

I go to either one or both of those usually weekly. Hit me up on a PM we can kick it sometime. I have friends like that who always go to XS or Market Street. |
