this movie didn't really impress me much, i suppose i had too high expectations. seeing it at imax would have been nice though.
i think the batman with jack nickelson is better, but that could be due to the nostalgia factor. |

went to long - they really coulda called it quits when 2 face was created and had another movie after that.
however - i havent seen batman begins - which is apparently just as long.
christian bale works as bruce wayne/batman for me cos i just remember him as that psycho bloke from american psycho - and thats what batman really is meant to be.
michael caine as alfred is awesome - some of his lines have been written especially for him...
morgan freeman PLayed the same character he always PLays...
heath ledgers performance can be summed up in 2 words - n brilliant - i never realised he was a method actor - does the joker thing absolutely perfectly. - it is a real shame that he went so young.
the ending was lame - and i think this is because they pulled the jokers death scene for obvious reasons (*waits for directors cut)
all in all i didnt mind it for a hollywood blockbuster - a bit long - a bit cliched - but i guess thats comic books...other than that...
go and see this movie to feel an emotion - and that emotion is depression...and its not cos batman sacrifices himself for 10 million people in gotham city....its because heath ledger was such a genius that had so many amazing roles before him ...but this was as good as he got to show at the age of about 29...and its nothing short of maaaaaad |
