Anyone know how this bass pattern is programmed in via midi? The sound is very similar to what you'd get out of the minimoog but I can't work out the pattern very easily. Any help would be appreciated as o'callaghan has been using this a lot recently in his reworks of kaktus, the girl you lost, and cowgirl. Think it works well.

Its a typical sawtooth --xx--xx--xx--xx pattern with an open filter.

i think.

Subtle is spot on.

One Oscillator set to saw tooth wave form, fast or no attack, and some release on the envelope.

The pattern is right too.

This sounds pretty for JOC btw.

Really nasty sound.

There is a sub bass line there too.

Unless i'm hearing things. It's like a sine or otherwise clean synth and its pattern is like -xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx
godsendxd

Yeah... that sounds right:

KICK X---X---X---X---
OPEN_SAW -ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo
SUB --xx--xx--xx--xx

The saw pattern is not -ooo its --oo

Yeah, and that sub could just be the release on the saw. Either way it's a pretty e bassline.
