| I started a thread around here a few weeks ago about this, the consensus was: build them yourself. I think the thread was called building a studio from scratch. |

if you buy acoustic tiles, you want to make sure they are of a reputable manufacturer (eg. not off ebay ). there are a lot of companies out there that just sell plain foam... you need high density stuff, with the right pore counts, for acoustics...
that said, you can get much better results for a fraction of the cost, if you DIY. all you need is a slab of rockwool in a frame. |
