I haven't been to work for 3 weeks. But I'll be getting $3000 in loan repayments, so I'm still good.
Slylee what do you do? Administrative work? Paralegal? |

Thats how I started. I was the only one willing to give it a try. Everyone else was scared to fail. Everyone else got laid off and I got promoted. Ive been the only one on the west coast that does what I do for the past 5 years. I wont train anyone either. Job security. From talking to corporate Im the best at it too. So I have that going for me. I had GE canada offer me $90k a year, but I dont want to move to Montreal. Id do it if it was in B.C. |

Customer service sucks...I was so happy when I didnt have to deal with the general public anymore. Sales in blows too. Acting happy to see strangers when you really want to stomp their heads in. commission only jobs...too stressful and you have to be a great liar. I suck at that so I didnt make as much as the scumbag salesmen that could steal your shoes and sell them back to you at twice the price.
Both of those types of jobs make you bitter and you start thinking everyone is an idiot. My old sales job almost made me racist I think. |

Im sure I can find a way. Ill keep at it. But the I do would get me fired at most other jobs 100 times over. I just know my and get it done. I like the freedom. Nobody breathing down my neck. I blast music in my office, and chill out with the hot administrator and deal with only a handful of customers that Im friends with..
Not too bad. |

It doesn't make you think everyone is an idiot. It brings to light how stupid the general public is. In the US anyways.
And yeah I can't do sales. I can't steal someones shoes and sell them back to them at twice the price. Nor can I pressure someone into buying something they don't want, or offer things that aren't covered/provided/possible.
Customer service would be ok if I could tell these morons that they are such. |
