I wasted like 5 hours using it, watching tuts and doing control find in the manual.
I understand everything except one thing.
I don't see the option for it, or any menu control that would lead me to learning how to do it, nor did I find it anywhere else but I know its something Melo does.
How do you move vocal notes or timestretch so they're on beat?
Tuning and getting different pitch/transitions is right in the menus but I can't find ANYWAY to do this. The youtube vids has a quantize function and I see a guy just clicking and moving notes.
I've tried everything and can't see how its done.
PLease help!

you have to select the arrow tool, select the wave and then drag it how u need to.
tbh i find it quicker to stretch it in my sequencer and just use melodyne for pitch :) |

Yeh that doesn't work in FL. It screws the sounds up.
I did try the arrow though about 100 times and it never worked.
I have a thread in the Celemony forums too, noones answered yet though. I click the notes and drag and they stay still lol. I also did alt + click drag and still no dice. |

I finally figured it out accidentally lol.
I would do "edit definition" because that was the only way I learned how to see the keys, but there was no way to move the notes with any of the tools.
I got pissed off and closed the window, started clicking obnoxiouslly all over the screen and a new friggin window opened up when I clicked on the track that says "untitled editor" lol.
It has all the options in there I was looking for, thanks anyway! Gets getting pissed pays off sometimes aha. |
