CHYMERA - PARELO
As the shift toward digital dance music continues and vinyl becomes increasingly obsolete, the influx of music from scores of labels and producers reaches unprecedented levels. In this ocean of dance music, trends come and go like waves, and producers that create and maintain a unique voice are increasingly rare.
One such artist, however, has been making hauntingly beautiful music for some time now with a singular voice and has received not only critical acclaim, but also the huge support of his peers, including some of the world's top DJs. He is none other than Chymera. Hailing originally from Cork, Ireland, he spent his formative musical years in Dublin. Currently based in Barcelona, Spain, he creates various shades of techno, drawing on many different influences, acoustic and electronic. Signing a gorgeous melodic summer tune "Parelo" to Washington DC's Brandnewvibe Recordings.
The package also features 3 remixes - the first from Way Out West's Jody Wisternoff who takes the summer vibe to a whole new level. The second remix is Ukranian rising star, Jim Pavloff, who adds a techy twist with gorgeous pads that create a haunting melody. Lastly is Brandnewvibe's own Kaveh Soroush, who teams up once again with production partner Charles Gudagafva -- fresh off the success of their "Dancing with Strangers" remix which received Pete Tong's blessing on the Essential Selection. Their remix is a deeper more melodic affair.
The release has garnered the support of the most prestigious names in dance music: Sasha, James Zabiela, Nic Fanciulli, Mark Knight, Nick Warren, Sander Kleinenberg, Hernan Cattaneo, Shlomi Aber, Desyn Masiello, James Talk, 16 Bit Lolitas, Neil Quigley, Danny Howells, Emjae, Ric Mclelland (Scope), Sultan, Francois Dubois, Tom Budden, and Eelke Kleijn.

| Kaveh & Charles remix sounds like the best one of the bunch to me, not feeling the Wisternoff remix at the moment |
