Possibly.. but i only roll with Tickets in hand, I don't do will call .. too many problems if your going with a big crew, like I'm doing. (waiting on laggers, etc.)

I'm sorry, but I have to vent out and say that a service fee like that for a walk-in is rediculous. That's supposed to be the advantage of buying tickets at a location/box office/etc...to avoid the service charge fees...but you really aren't at all....

And it's funny because whenever I mention to anyone about high service charge fees when buying online, I am just told that the tickets can be bought in a store near them and they can avoid the charge.

But going by history, it really doesn't make a difference in the end.

Last year I exchanged my will call receipt for hard tix at the Bill Graham box office the afternoon of the Lovefest party. There was a HUGE line to buy tickets for cash, and 3 people waiting in the line to exchange will-call tix for hard tix. Took only about 2 mins. and I had hard tix in my hands.

I noticed this year that the tickets are sold through Trinity Street. They also sold tix for Tiesto's 3 shows here in LA a few months ago, and there's a small box on the printout that's machine readable. For Tiesto, they said that you could give your receipt to anyone else if needed, but they would need to have the receipt with the machine-readable box.

If the same is true for Lovefest, then would make it much easier to exchange or give out tix in advance, just buy them online individually or in pairs...the price is the same per ticket no matter how many are ordered.

I went for the VIP tix...last year was worth it just for the separate VIP bar alone. A couple of years earlier, I had to wait upstairs under harsh fluorescent lighting about 30 minutes for drinks, and completely missed one of the DJ sets! There's something to be said about being able to enjoy the music and not having to wait in line all night...
