she contradicts herself once or twice in her comments ...
I think she's just frustated because she's frigid after having been abused as a child and gave a brief stint into lesbianism which failed so now she's back to normal and wants to hate hate hate hate ....
I believe in God ( yes I'm a christian ) yet I firmly believe religious beliefs should be kept out of the political sphere at all cost because your distortion of your perception of the "truth" can be blurred because of you mixing in your own beliefs. |

I'm sure there are plenty in her party as nutty as she is. The person who led her party, the DUP, for forty years had these sort of things to say about Roman Catholics -
"You people of the Shankill Road,what's wrong with you? Number 425 Shankill Road. Do you know who lives there? Pope's men, that's who!" |

Why do you feel the need to bring the repression of catholics into this thread? I'm sure both sides have their stories about what the other side did... |

I'm not trying to draw on the repression of one side or another. I'm just showing people what this woman's former leader had to say - how ridiculous it was, and how it's not at all suprising (given Paisley's comments) that Robinson would come out with something so crazy. |

I agree it's not surprising, I have tired of the DUP recently, the last elections I stuck to the UUP and the Alliance Party.
The recent that Robinson has come out with, and the fact the DUP have not condemned her comments is a farce in my opinion. If they aren't careful they could alienate a large portion of their voters with their actions.
Just like the loyalist feud, the Shinners will be rubbing their hands, and can't believe their luck :D |

| I concur. Whatever about thinking these sort of things privately, saying them in public, as a public representative, is mental. She'll have plenty of support in her opposition to abortion, but the gay is worse than child abuser is mad altogether! |

That cu*t Iris Robinson is a lesbian , its clear as day.
There is no doubt that she has licked a muff or two in her day, she feels guilty about it now so becomes a born again and bashes gays.
Its the ones that feel so strongly against gays that you gotta watch :D
