DJ/Drummer/Producer/Musician D:FUSE has long been hailed one of the top DJs of North America delivering an energy-filled performance of DJing and live drumming. He was voted in the top 15 Progressive DJs in America by the BPM magazine readers poll and listed in the top 35 DJs in America in the DJ Times Poll the last 2 years in a row. He's been a coverboy of Urb, Remix, & M8 magazines.
As a producer, his tracks have been hammered by Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Teneglia, The Scumfrog, Danny Howells, Carl Cox, Armin Van Buren, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Paul Van Dyk to name a few. His sound has helped define a new edge in Big Room Progressive and House with hits like Bodyshock, She Rides, Feel, Living The Dream, Everything With You & countless remixes. Mike Hiratzka is a consummate artist on a mission to bring his musical vision to the world. An incendiary DJ whose sets have rocked crowds from Hong Kong to London, Mike’s unique, funky fusion of progressive, electro, tech house, and techno is a guaranteed good time whether he is playing peak time sets at the world’s top venues or to the fortunate few at an intimate beach-side party. You may not always know what to expect, but you will always remember the experience when Mike takes the decks. Some of the signature musical moments of those sets come courtesy of the man himself, as Mike is a gifted producer and engineer whose diverse catalogue of tracks have been hammered by just about every DJ in the world. The names read like a who’s who of dance music: Oakenfold. Sasha. Digweed. Tong. Burridge. Cattaneo. PVD. AVB. The list goes on and on…
Renowned for his impeccable production skills, Mike has recently expanded into a broader realm of music. He was tapped by Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, the producers of the legendary downtempo act Delerium, to provide additional production and programming on a new side project. Entitled Fauxliage, it features vocals by Leigh Nash of Sixpence None The Richer, famous for their late 90’s hits ‘Kiss Me’ and ‘There She Goes’. The Fauxliage album is scheduled for release in August 2007 on Nettwerk Records.
The ultimate culmination of Mike’s new, diverse production endeavors is the new artist album, ‘Skyline Lounge’, co-produced and written with fellow DJ and producer D:Fuse and released in July 2007 on the duo’s new label, Lost Angeles Recordings. The two have spent the past year exploring the full spectrum of electronic music, using the full-length format as a platform to push their musical boundaries and craft a true expression of their collective artistic mentality. The album, though based in the realm of electronica, features a plethora of live instrumentation, including vocals, guitar and bass by Mike, as well as vocals and percussion by D:Fuse, and violin by Govinda, who regularly appears with Thievery Corporation. The album also includes collaborations with vocalists including DJ Rap and Kristy Thirsk of Delerium fame, as well as up and coming talents Ceci Castelblanco and MC Flint.
Never content with the status quo, Mike is constantly expanding his DJ career into new markets and engrossing himself in new studio projects, including a forthcoming pop album with Kristy Thirsk, a house album with DJ Rap, and remixes for dance labels worldwide including Sander Kleinenberg’s Little Mountain imprint. |

Jim Carson blends old school and new school house & rave with a grittiness that is ripe for the dancefloor. The renegade commando, remixer, DJ, house music producer Jim Carson (aka Bodylickin' Bootleggers) is at it non-stop with his funky, bangin beats. Since 1996, Carson has been a force to be both reckoned with and beloved on the decks. Falling in love with the electronic house music sound at events like "Nocturnal Wonderland," and "Dr. Freecloud's Mixing Lab's 1 Year Anniversary Party," it was not long before Carson picked up a pair of Technics 1200s and moved from LA to Santa Barbara. Rocking the party town of Isla Vista with his funky acid house and funky breaks from 1998 to 2000, Carson developed a reputation for providing the best in house, trance, and breaks. In early 2000, Carson would return to LA to rock and groove raves and clubs like Club Blue, Liquid Butterfly, the Masterdome, The Orange Show Fairgrounds, 31 Flaverz @ The Fox Theatre in Pomona, and Vibrations Within in San Bernardino.
Carson has traveled the globe and back keeping girlies dizzy and dancers entranced with his uplifting and funky rhythms. Always funky and always fresh, Jim Carson, once known as DJ Mad Hatter, is one of LA's most talented dance music artists. As a member of Icon Collective and one of LA's veteran house music and breaks DJs of the early 21st century, Jim Carson is on the rise as the international ambassador of cutting edge, high-energy, funky, electro dance music.
Carson has shared stages with some of the world's biggest dance and urban music artists including Gabriel & Dresden (Spundae, Circus Disco), Donald Glaude (Nympho/Sky Sushi), Frankie Bones (Cafe Sureal at E2 in Chicago), Scooter & Lavelle (Chemistry/Avalon), The Wu-Tang Clan (Oracle 3; Orangeshow Fairgrounds), and DJ Ruff & DJ Peran (Afterhour Power/Avalon). In North America, he has traveled to play gigs in South Beach Miami (Wet Grooves-Shelbourne Hotel), New Orleans (740), Calgary (SEX), Edmonton (Twilight Afterhours), and Las Vegas (Empire Ballroom, Drais, and Seven) to name a few. In 2007, Carson secured a residency with FunXion Entertainment and continues to represent FunXion -- one of the West Coast's leading dance music establishments in 2008. Other alias you may recognize Carson's work by are Barney Rumble, DJ Illicit, and Higher State. A name to be trusted with delivering booty shakin' funky house music, juicy high charged electro-funk grooves, progressive house, and breaks, Carson crosses the musical spectrum from deep and soulful house to pumping high charged electro house, techno, progressive, and trance. Carson credits early '90s rave DJs Jason Blakemore, Jesse Brooks, Fester & Oscure, and DJ Lindsey as sources of inspiration to pursue the art of DJing.
Mastering the North American dance club scene as one of the most inspiring and funky programmers of euphoric dance sets, Carson creates magical moments on the dancefloor, connecting with the audience and inspiring new fans and DJs alike. Once again in 2008, Carson is leading the charge as a DJ that plays from his heart and soul to connect with the audience. A resident and special guest at many nightclubs across the US including Avalon, Spundae, Deep, After Hour Power, and Grand Avenue, Carson gives the fans what they want to hear -- deep, soulful, driving, electro, progressive, and wonky music that sends hands waving in the air.
