Found this a couple of minutes ago while "working" ;)
Two from Montreal on the list: Stereo comes in at #51 and Parc-Jean Drapeau at #71
I cant wait for my trip to europe next summer..gonna hit up most of the top 20 hopefully..seems like berlin is where its at and i plan to go there for at least 2-3 weeks

berghain/panorama is the sketchiest and greatest place on earth.
i have never heard such great music in my life and had so much fun.watergate is good too.
if you want to get in val, show up early. Try not to dress like an american/british tourist, and DO NOT let them know you are russian (they are not loved in berlin.) If you are cool with the bouncers (speak only german...some broken english) you will have no problems. If they think you are a yank/brit/russian/loser..they will refuse you access. Good luck and keep your eyes out of the corners at berghain hihi.
watergate is the same. mention the dj playing and say you are there for that. They want a music crowd, not a there to be seen one.
you also have to check in your cellphone..absolutely no pics allowed. |
