This weeks episode features another one of my favorite DJ’s, Ismael Rodriguez. I have followed him for about 7 years now and I hope that you all find your way to see him rock a club! smael Rodriguez is a San Francisco based DJ whom Christopher Lawrence describes as “One of the Best DJs Out There”. Christopher is such a fan that he specifically requested Ismael play alongside him on New Years Eve at the massive 1015 Folsom show in San Francisco.
A Bay Area favorite, Ismael pushes his unique selection of quality trance, techno and house throughout the cities thriving trance scene. This sound has made him a current favorite at 1015 Folsom and he has recently played events and opened for world class DJs including Christopher Lawrence, John 00 Fleming, Yahel, Infected Mushroom, Mark Norman and Kyau & Albert. Many of his appearances have included popular venues including 1015 Folsom, Ruby Skye, DNA Lounge, Space 550, Sound Factory, Temple. Most recently, Ismael’s mix cds (Alliance, TEK Freeway, Exit Vermont) have gained popularity amongst clubbers and local critics who have described them as “amazingly different and fierce.” Ismael has also promoted successful events in San Francisco and is one of the co-founders of ALIBI productions which has thrown exceptional trance & house events since 2006.
