I guess my definition of deep, chuggy, and sleazy is different than yours. That WREAKS of summer.
a good example of what i'm talking about can be found at the 48 minute mark of the balance 013 comp, disc one
This track could also be labeled deep, melodic, and funky too.....

With the risk of sounding cliched, the SOS sound can't be coined really. But what I've found true in almost all their sets is that they bring the FUN element to deep electronic music - be it prog, electro or tech. Even for some of the funky hed kandi kinda stuff, you'll always find them playing that one remix which defies the cheesy notions of other remixes on the EP.
groovy/chuggy/infectious basslines, striking stab synths, lush melodies and exotic sounds ranging from jazzy saxophones to arabian horns.
Although I love Desyn more for his sense of sound and the diversity of it, the three of them together bring a whole new level of energy to the floor.
they've been doing boat parties in london for 2 years now so I'm sure we're in for a fantastic summer treat.
p.s. this thread needs more excitement
