So im going to be in San Diego this week July 28 and leaving Aug 2. I was wondering if i could have some help with some good house or trance clubs or even better if there are any good shows worth going to. Any help is appreciated as it is my first time going clubbing in SD.

Thanks

For EDM you will be limited to 2028 Hancock, Belo, On Broadway, and Stingaree. Not sure what is going on at those in general, but you can find the events on groovetickets mostly or www.giantclub.com

Behrouz is at On Broadway Friday August 1st.

So its not a "Pure Behrouz" night....he's known to open and close up shop....with OB closing at 130am, you would think this would be all hom since it would only be like 3 hours...

lol i got kicked outta belo once for doing that. anyway, that place smells like ass and there’s nothing going on anymore.

lol I loved the decor of Belo, but that place sucked balls. The crowd always had too many idiots that were trying to be more LA than people in LA. So annoying.

I never really liked the latest "look" of Belo. The club itself could be really nice. It was way too kitschy. If I was God I would have tore it down to the basic brick & mortar and put an emphasis in sound and comfort. Leave the themes for Disneyland.

The space itself is great. Unfortunately somebody spent a ton on its current facelift and is going to milk it till it's dry.

Dual themes clubs (hip hop & whatever (?)) are a disaster too. Plus I always thought the mash-up room was better suited for dance.

As for now stay away . . . .
