But i don't think its a fair comparison to make between the Curve 8310 and the iPhone 3G.

The best test will be to compare the specs between the BB Bold & iPhone 3G.

But you're right, majority of the iPhone 'flaws' don't matter to most people since they don't use them...

PS. Nice pic of the Saddledome...i miss it sometimes :( lol

I actually think it's a pretty fair comparrison because most of the article tackled the Blackberry vs. iPhone. In daylight the camera is much better on the iPhone even though they are both 2mp cameras. However other camera's will jump ahead because there is no zoom or flash on the iPhone.

I'm not making excuses, but at the same time, if you want a camera; buy a camera and not a phone and then expect it to be as good as a handheld camera. Even the 5mp or 7mp camera's on mobile phones aren't as good as a standalone unit.

As for the Saddledome, that view is a 2 minute walk from my house; pretty lovely ;)

Oh come on Jeff, you can't be that blind. That is grainy, muddy .

I took these on Saturday with my Nokia N82. Oh, they also post to my Flickr account wirelessly with the click of a button. The phone will geotag each picture taken with GPS data, if a satellite connection is available to pinpoint the location.

These pics are heavily scaled down, but they're still pretty good from the native resolution stuff.

So will the iphone when you download the FREE app...

Your Nokia is a good phone for its features no doubt but its more than double the price, and has a small screen...

Plus I just looked at it again...and its a little ugly...tiny little buttons...

Shut up already about the in N82...

You're going to give it a bad name...

More than double the price, eh? What's an unlocked/unbranded iPhone 3G worth? Oh! About $800 or so! Well holy dog, which one costs twice as much as the other now? Oh did I have to sign my life away on a 3 year contract at a rate of at least $60/mo? No, I didn't. Additionally, I didn't pay a cent for the N82, I traded it straight up for my old HTC Touch.

Boohoo about the ing screen. I'm not browsing the goddamn internet or watching movies on my cellphone, I don't spend my days sitting on public transit or anything and as such I have better things to do with my time.

As for the buttons, HOLY , I LIKE TACTILE FEEDBACK! ME WITH A RAKE, I MUST BE AN IDIOT! Unless you've got fingers the size of delicious smoked hams, the buttons on the N82 are very easy to use. Touchscreen is nothing more than a gimmick that gets old really quickly.

And let's not get into the amount of software available for the Symbian/S60 OS that my phone runs, or it's popularity worldwide...

My god would you just shut up about the anti iphone crap...

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a nice vibrating vagina app you could get for your Nokia so that you could just sit at home and make precious love to the thing...

Or maybe your bag is sticking it in your ass and calling yourself all day...

Whatever man...you love your n8-whatever and hate the iphone...

What I like about the touch screen is I can type on it at work without putting any real pressure on the buttons...trust me, at my work, thats a benefit...

Bad thing is it's very hard to type while driving...better to have the feel for that... but I'm getting used to not texting while in traffic is all...

I could write a novel without looking in the car on my Sony Ericsson...

One thing I like about a regular keypad (using # keys, 3 letters to a number) vs. a full BB, etc keypad...

You type using one hand.

I dont need to look at the bloody cellphone anymore when texting, which makes texting while driving possible, since i dont need to take my eyes off the road, but for a few seconds here and there to ensure at the end that the msg reads properly.
