Why? That one is a great album.

How about we stay on topic and keep the minimal bashing to a minimum. In any case like someone mentioned I will pass judgement on the samples after i've heard them in the context they were meant to be listened in.

+1, to me that album is better than all recent Sasha and Digweed stuff. A Night In Cairo is just sex for the ears.

Oh, it's cool I guess. BTW, :haha: at Sasha's myspace profile pic. Nice, never saw him in a suit before.

Yeah, I know...it's the same one he has on his facebook page. Saw it last week. Nearly pissed myself. :stongue:

Meh. check demoted & chris & jupiter's responses :p it's an awesome album and shows great use of percussive elements in progressive trance. It's perhaps not quite what clovis would normally hear, but sometimes the best things come from random suggestions :)

Couleurs is pretty sweet. If Sasha & Digweed are trying to play prog again, I'm ALL about that, it's what got me into dance musics. Well technically it was Northern Exposure, but the Delta Heavy era has so many memories for me.

Looking forward to invol2ver :) I don't think it'll be as good as the first one, but it can be great anyway.

I really like the original of couleurs btw. Amazing track as always from m83.

I really don't like that it's called Invol2ver.

Anyway, I doubt any remix of DEYT can touch the original version.
And I agree that sequels to good mixed CDs usually end up not so good.
First thing that comes to my mind is TPOD.
I'm not really sure I want a sequel to Involver, but I'll give it a listen nonetheless.

Get over it. Misinformed people who don't want to do their own research are going to be calling what is really tech-house or techno and even some house, minimal, for a long time.

So what would you say 'true' minimal is? Monolake and Maurizio? Early Aril Brikha?
