If you want to get paid making trance, then use every last bit of your spare time and energy for writing music and bettering your production skills.

If that's not possible or sounds too difficult, then good luck ever making a living at dance music.

Thats a post i wanted I do spend hours i mean like I get up at 5 am to spend 2 hours producing or learning. I go to the library and play piano from teach yourself books. I read the cubase manual inside out and i bought some more books. I take the dance music manual to bed with me and my girlfriend is threatening to leave me if i dont stop spending so much time in front of cubase. Its all i ever wanted and that is what I was getting at. Thanks so much for reading between the lines some guys just used the post to make cheap shots at me. When really Im just hear to learn about what i love.

Thanks

shes not leaving you because you spend too much time on cubase, it because you have an inferior penis, as opposed to her lovers (read: my) penis.

I don't know a whole lot about produciing but I will share with you this one piece I do know - if you are recording vocals, move away from the mic to breathe in. ;)

Good luck with the production!

perpetual anxiety was pretty . I can see why your girlfriend is leaving you. You spend this much time away from her and only come up with like Perpetual Anxiety :wtf:

It sounds like it came out in 1996 :wtf:

"break-down, bre-bre-bre-break-down...and the old-school pumping bit umts umts umts umts"

But it is nice, it would be a hit in 1996-97, together with Ayla

LOL

don't make your tracks sound like they're from 1996. Better/newer percussion samples, synths, everything. Absolutely everything about all your tracks sound horrendously old :wtf:

I'd be down. But it sounds like you're using the "let's hear you do better" argument which everyone seems to fancy at one point.
