Eric Prydz - Pjanoo [Ultra] OUT NOW!!!

The special one is ready to land! 'Pjanoo' has gone from strength to strength since it's debut in Miami early 2008, it's become one of the most requested dance tracks for years, everyone loves it with its Ibizian passion and melody that lift any dancefloor. It should be all about the original mix but DATA have puled out the stops and delivered an amazing remix package to add the icing on the cake. Fred Falke dons his Vangelis hat and releases an 80's eurodisco cut that could have come straight from the 'Bladerunner' soundtrack, a real masterpiece of musical genius. Guy J goes for a very dark haunting progressive house trip for those very very late night sets. The winning mix for me has to go to Afterlife, for there trip back to those warehouse days of glory with it's full on 1988 piano's, blended with a simple old school drum break. The hype has been there since Feb and will roll into Ibiza and beyond, a classic anthem for now and probably the next 20 years.

Hmm. I'll be checking these out when I get home for sure.
Is the original mix identical to the previous release? |

Yup.
Afterlife's other material is amazing! Didn't even know about him until now. I like his remix just to chill to, but nothing groundbreaking at all.
The Guy J is best of the release, but nothing zomgworthy.
And I just don't like the Fred Falke mix except for the 80s synths in it (that sound like Eric's work actually). |

Awful release. Guy J is the only decent remix, maybe usable as a 2nd or 3rd track tops, but it really isn't all that great.
I was listening to the Prydz EM from 07 and there's a load of really good unreleased tunes there. Why doesn't he ever release those????? :whip: |
