LOL...:stongue:
Obama has categorically rejected his preacher's words, and Reverend Wright is no longer his preacher. As for his "refusal" to visit troops. This is a NON-ISSUE, trumped up by a desperate McCain campaign who are desperately trying to find dirt on Obama. He never refused to visit troops, nice spin though;). He visited troops in Iraq AND Afghanistan, and he has visited WOUNDED troops before! WITHOUT CAMERAS. The McCain campaign wants to say Obama didn't want to visit the wounded troops in Germany because he couldn't bring cameras. The truth is, he was going to visit WITHOUT cameras anyways. The McCain campaign is politicizing wounded troops, and that should be categorically rejected. Notice how everything they do is in REACTION to Obama. Glad to know they add real substance to the debate...:haha: |
Your fanaticism towards Obama blinds you from seeing the truth. It is not whether he visited our brave soldiers, it is his constant CHANGE of excuses that I mentioned above. Im sorry someone with character and integrity dosent go by that. |

Oh Latinlover! The only one who knows the truth! Let me bow down at your feet! :stongue: :stongue:
Whatever "excuse" Obama would have given, you would still try to play the "gotcha" game to a NON-EVENT. You would be mad if he visited the troops "for campaign purposes", and you would be mad if he didn't visit the troops, as you are now. The spin McCain tries to force down our throats is that Obama canceled the visit to wounded troops because he couldn't bring in cameras. If you haven't been watching his world tour, he has been visiting troops all over the world, Iraq, Afghanistan, talking with generals, AND visiting wounded troops, WITHOUT cameras in other instances. But when he cancels ONE visit, McCain foot soldiers are up in arms! Whose the one politicizing wounded troops!?!? It's McCain!
This just goes to show, a desperate McCain campaign will jump on the smallest of NON-ISSUES, trying to poke holes, and seeing if any of them grow. It really is amusing..:p |

I understand your a frustrated liberal that just wants his party to get to the white house. But the fact remains, when you constantly change of excuses and especially when they are directed to bravest of all, our soldiers it shows lack of respect and integrity toawrds them. I wouldnt mind if he changes his mind of political issues, but if he does it on our troops, Im sorry but thats a lack of respect towards them. Obama can lie to people like you Krypton but to our troops... that is unacceptable. I cant imagine him being our commander and chief and carrying those attributes. |

Excuse me....

Ugh. Now... Obama cancels ONE visit and McCain's foot soldiers are all up in arms.:stongue:

Lack of respect for our troops is sending 4,000 of them to die for non existent weapons of mass destruction. |

By the way, McCain has two sons in Iraq I believe and has served in a war and knows what war is like.
What has Obama done? Community Organizer? 150 days in the Senate? |

Military service doesn't mean on this issue. Mccain is senile and dangerous. I don't care if he earned 50 purple crosses. His ideas are disastrous. |

What makes him so dangerous from Barack? What about his ideas? |

Clearly that has not helped his judgment much. |

Let me get this straight... Mccain dosent know anything eventhough he has been in battle serving our country. Mccain dosent know anything eventhough he is part of the Armed Services committee. Who would you trust? A guy with military experience and knowledgeable when it comes to our armed services? Or a guy with no resume on the issue what so ever? |

Wouldn't you think twice before you send your own sons to war or keep supporting it from the begging? |

You'd think wouldn't you?
One would think that having participated in Vietnam, one of the worst blunders of American military action in the history of the country, a complete waste of American lives on a colossal scale, that McCain would be the first to stand up againbst a pre-emptive war waged on false premises, chock full of failed strategies, terribly executed, and with myopic goals....
...and yet...nope...I believe he has said he still thinks the war was the right decision. |
