I see your post JJ but i'm going to ask anyway...how do you get in without a Pier ticket?
Seems a little unfair for people who have prior arrangements and cannot make the Pier show.
What happens if people just showed up at WH looking for door tickets? Will we just be turned away? |

It's not looking too promising. If all else fails try to get a promo code from someone who is going to love instead. |

How does MADE control this though? It's probably safe to say that the Pier crowd is going to be split up between LOVE and WH. That leaves plenty of room at WH and I just don't see management wasting the opportunity to make more money by selling single tickets to the after-party.
Didn't MADE do the same thing for the Spirit show in 04 and they ended up selling tickets for it last minute? |

It's crowd control. When was the last time PVD played Webster?....think about it. He can pack Roseland and this is going to be Darey's NY debut so that will draw even more of a crowd. If enough tickets aren't sold and they are not a capacity then who knows, they may end up selling tickets as a last minute thing but I don't know anything about that and I wouldn't bet on it.
I thought the Spirit afterparty was discount with ticket stub from the earlier outdoor party. Not sure I didn't go to the afterparty. |

Understood but just trying to think this out logically. I assume that capacity is much larger at WH than the Pier, just an assumption. If people are going to LOVE and WH, I would think that there would be plenty of room at Webster.
There's just no way they would sell enough tickets along with the Pier show to pack up Webster Hall. Just my guess...unless the Pier holds more than WH. |

Quite the contrary
Capacity for Pier about 4000.
Capacity for Webster about 1400.
Capacity for Love...not sure but doesn't compare
so do the math :p
No offense to your situation and you know I think your cool so I really want to see u go but I actually prefer it that way due to the fact that you know the people that are there came for the artist and the music...not just random people who wanted to go to a club and ended up at Webster Hall.
Capacity at Summerstage was about 5000 which is probably why they chose to go the 18+ route instead of all ages. There is reasoning behind everything. |

Hmm I did not know that, thanks for the info Z. Hopefully something works out. I unfortunately have a wedding in LI until about 10pm. I'd love to go but if this is the only way to get in, I may be out of luck. |

AND... I think Matt Darey got me sold for the afterparty, as much as I LOVE M.I.K.E. he does go to NY more often than Darey so that just means I have to plan another trip to see M.I.K.E. when he goes back :p
