I've seen somebody at my work get busted by undercovers before. It's my understanding that it's a law in Washington to check ID if an individual looks under a certain age. Most people play it safe and ID anybody who's not obviously old enough, though the person who got busted decided just not to check, sold to a minor, and less than a minute later was pulled out of the checkstand and shoved into a cop car. That's how it's "safer." |
