The season finale is airing this Thursday on ABC. Both happy and sad. I hope ABC comes out with another documentary like this. Thought it was very interesting and amusing.
About a year till I get to start the whole process which'll work my way up to that. Haha.

Finished with all premed. Took MCATs. Applied and waiting for interviews.
One more year of undergrad left to finish up my biochem and Japanese majors.
In the long run, ophthalmology is the field I want to enter.

If I was a more dedicated and disciplined student I'd have chosen a Med major...

Technically speaking, there doesn't exist a "med" or "pre-med" major (although there are a number of schools that are offering special 5+ year programs which could then be called "med" majors). There's simply a pre-med track that everyone has to follow (2 years of bio + whatever the labs required, 1 year of gen chem, 1 year of orgo, 1 year of gen chem lab, 1 semester of orgo lab, 1 year of physics, 1 year of physics lab - if I remember correctly) and some majors, more than others, allow you to complete the entire journey while simultaneously completing your college education.

nice-- I took the MCATs earlier this year and retaking them in 2 weeks. I'm going to apply this fall and see what happens. I don't want to get a masters, so I might just end up going to the Carribeans or D.O. school if things go bad.

Sounds like a good plan. Just make sure to get that higher score on the re-take.
