Had a very good time at Guv last night. Walked in around 12:30 only to find out J00F was gonna be on in a half an hour!

J00F was J00F, great set as usual but different from the one he played back in February. He started off progressive, playing some darker housey stuff followed by prog trance and then banged it out with some full on by the 3rd hour. I know I got alot of heat for my comments on the CL show so for all of the people who thought I was an anti-Guv mascot, I'll say that this night was much better in terms of human traffic. There were some spots that you could find to dance all you wanted, something that warm June night did not lol.

It seemed like everyone was having a good time, going crazy with J00F's conductor like energy. This was the first time I could really see the intimate effect the new DJ booth has and it was pretty evident by the crowd reaction. Seemed like a care free crowd, like in the earlier days of the scene. People just going crazy to good music, what you want to see in a crowd when you're out as opposed to the zombie like atmosphere that it can be in that room some times. Good times for sure!

Some Tracks I could ID (some what in order)
Marek-Me Chali
Anton Chernikov - Burmourbia
Nicholas Bennison - Exocet (ID remix)
Violet Vision – Cellophane (Sub6 & Domestic Remix)
Astral Projection-The Prophecy
Wizzy Noise-Sea Song
Push-Universal Nation (ID Remix)
Yahel-Liquid Love (ID Remix)
Sub6-Stand with me
Sub6-Down and out
Infected Mushroom-Deeply Disturbed
John 00 Fleming & Wizzy Noise-Cydonia

And last but not least, have to say thanks to all the TA's I saw last night. Navid (you're alright man, we're friends lol), Kris, Bobbby (Happy B-day man), Sean + Crew, Ben (good seeing you man, been too long), Kristina (haha, scared you again), Alex, DJ Deltawye (nice meeting you), Invasionmix.... and anyone else I missed, was great seeing you all!

Cheers

JOOF was absolutely awesome!!! I can never get tired of listening to his sets, they're just mindboggling  . The first 10-15 minutes were just a warm up, then he started to bring out the harder stuff, and by his 2nd hour, he was rippin' it!!! I danced a lot, I sweat my ass off, and met a lot of cool people. Kris and Navid ... it was great seeing you guys again, it's been quite a while, since Club Rio. Ben (Spaniard), it was nice meeting you as well, nice to see people that have the same appreciation for JOOF.

Cheers

That wasn't therapy that was just INSANE!

I need Therapy now! lol

Funniest part of the night was when sitting outside with Veronica, Ian, Justin and Bryan watching a chick make a fool out of herself trying to prove to people she wasn't a stipper or a hooker lol... while eating pills one at a time like it was candy lol
hardcore trancer
man that was one hell of a set!!! I hope Guve realizes that it is ok for them to book more proper psy trance Dj because I can honestly say the people were loving those in beats last night!!!!:eyes:

p.s Ben we are not friends man :p

Push - Universal Nation (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Like where the hell did that come from??? :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

It was great to see lots of familiar faces out there, Ben always good seein ya man, Navid, man, always a pleasure dude! Raf, it's been long time eh. Catalina, Oz, Veronica, Kristina, Vince, Justin, Bobby, Ian, Alex n everyone else in between, it made me so happy to party with people that really want to party and had just as hard of a time leaving that dancefloor. I think I remember sayin to Veronica at one point that we WERE the party :p

Ya Mark Oliver didn't play good to open, but when he closed, his forst 2 tracks were insane! Starting with SVD - Pura Vida and going into DJ Montana - The Bridge in the Park! I lost it hearing that classic from 2001, I used to hammer it out all the time, and to hear it so suddenly was the !! Love that tech-trance, I wish it was played more here in Toronto, I think it'd really go over well!
