Binary Finary 2002 pvd vs. Home and dry Blank & jones

Does anyone else notice that these two songs (pet shop boys - home and dry Blank & Jones remix) and pvd's version of 2002 (binary Finary) are actually not only in the same key but have some similar chord progressions? I just think it's weird, not asking a question or something but wondering if anyone else notices this similarity and how random it is...

I know...

Paul van Dyk? I knew a guy named Van Dike. I gave him a demotape that I made for fun. The song was called 'Four angels'. He promissed to send it back but I never heard from him no more. Strange dude.

A year later (1999) I was visiting the Einslive studio in Cologne. One guy that was working there on saturday asked me something. I couldnt quite hear it but I though he was talking about coffee. So I said 'no sugar, only cream!'

The vocals TOTALLY kill this remix. Otherwise, it would be a stellar track.
