| For some reason I thought this was on Saturday not Friday. Thanks for the heads up Randy! Otherwise I would've been waiting for Tejada last night, lol. Too bad I couldn't make it. : ( |

i walked into a really weird scene on the way out
this fat kid was on a mission
i guess they kicked him out or something for bothering people
so as i was walking out he was in this security guards face telling him " your life, your life... i'm going to you in your ear, the world is going to end and it will be funny"
and this continued for about 20 minutes
then some random guy on the street started coaching the fat kid
he's like "you need to be more sincere"
"try saying it while down on one knee" |

on another note:
i really enjoyed obeds warm up set, the whole place was dancing his the entire time he played, however it was far from a warm up, it was more like an opener/headliner, i didnt stay long enough to hear tejadas set, i got pissed off during simkos set and left, and |

Have wanted to play with one of those for a very, very long time. I can't even say how many times I've watched the demo videos - definitely thought that's what I had heard Tejada was on, but maybe I'm wrong.
Anyone have pics of the setup Ruben is referring to? Would love to see what his PA setup is like. |

he also had a controller in front of it, it looked like a horizontal strip with about 8 knobs and possibly sliders.
I give him props for using that setup, which was intriguing for sure - just enjoyed watching/hearing the Monomachine + Machinedrum setup better since there was no laptop = "realer" live PA.
