Anyone can go. All ages are cool except you need to be very careful on what you do and where you do it. Rangers patrol the event and also have undercover agents around checking camps that server alcohol because you will get in trouble if you serve booze to minors.

I've seen just about every type of person at Burning man.. I constantly found myself wondering what rock that person crawled out of but he it's burning man.. it's all about being yourself and letting yourself be free.
I highly recommend everyone to go at least once in their life. It's so much ing fun! Place is completely bonkers. :tongue3 |

One of my Deep End experiences last year...
Rode my bike in clear weather. Drank, drank, drank. Decided it was time to take my top off. Let a nearby gent wear it. Weather turned to longest dust storm of the week. Danced in the dust half naked until the double rainbow showed.
LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!
Wish I were going this year :( |

it takes place out in a desert in nevada about 2 hours away from Reno. the closest town is a place called Gerlach. officially, the city of burning man is called Black Rock City - which exists for only 1 week out of the year. as of now, it is the 4th largest city in nevada for that one week. and yes - it is a city... there is a radio station, post office, etc. :toothless
