Might been for his classic of the week or something.

Markus played a remix I hadn't before of another old track....but I'm forgetting which one it was, though. Had vocals I'm pretty sure. Now I'm gonna be driven nuts until I remember which one it was. Was outside for a part of it and other peeps realized it was some new remix, too...

I wanna know what that tribalish track he played near the beginning of his set was. Wowzas!! Made everyone go nuts.

Was that the remix of Big Sky we were chatting about?

Nice to meet you bro (finally) and hang out with ya!

I said to Dave - Markus quite frequently does his own remixes and calls them the 'Big room' remix, or the big room (re)or(de)constructed remix. And they are almost always hard as hell to find. it was a sweet remix though. Like the synths and the drops on it.

Also liked it when he played tracking treasure down. Nice freaking tune!

Yeah, I feel bonedheaded because when you mentioned the Big Room remixes (which I know he does), I totally remembered then he had done a Big Room remix of Big Sky and that I heard that remix on his radio show before.

Anyhow, he had to have taken the Agnelli & Remix and reconstructed that. First part of the song totally sounds like the A&R remix.

I've never seen that man play that way before.
Hoj just said he never get to play a set as long as that night, which is why...
Opening set was awesome!

Yeah I have to agree, To be honest I was blown away by his opening set. It was great. I've never heard Hoj play that way before.

this was a really fun night! markus' set was trancier than i expected based on his last appearance, but then that's what the crowd was after so he delivered on that note. i personally thought the 45 minutes of hoj's set i heard was way sicker than the first half of markus - not because markus was particularly bad, but because the last part of hoj's set was amazing. makes me wish we'd shown up earlier for more of hoj. imo he was on the right track with that sound and i was hoping markus would pick it up from there, but instead he brought it down to pick it back up. i loved hearing that arnej track at the end, but i wanted more of that and less of without you near/big sky throughout the night. the heavy beats have never sounded better on mighty's revamped sound system. not even two weeks ago for steve bug. i have a new-found excitement for lee's return to mighty (and a renewed sadness for being in vegas during supermayer!). the ONE thing mighty could improve on is its non-existant air circulation. a couple of well-placed electric fans don't cost a lot of money, but they do prevent the crowd from getting tired, sweaty, nasty and ready to leave. i don't care how many water bottles they sell me, it's not gonna help when it's 90 degrees in there. every one i came with left with wet shirts, and at the bug show it was so bad we went outside to cool off and never came back in. anyway, that's the end of my rant. i hope markus uses the second half for gdjb.

OH YEAH!

the new revamped sound system is INCREDIBLE

BTH I did not really enjoy the first half of Hoj's set. It was a little to minimal for me. All of the same sounds with the same beats. The second 1/2 was way better.

I loved Markus's set. Here I thought it was going to end at 3 and he played till 4! Score!!! I did hit my wall at 3:30 thanks to the heat!!! Mighty was TOO HOT!!! Everyone was sweating so much!!!! I had to step out side a few times to cool off. ( I hate leaving the dance floor when markus is on)

The sound at Mighty was MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER!!!! :D :D :D :D

Had an amazing time partying with everyone :)
