I think you just answered your own question there.
cheesy pop club. No doubt that once in a blue moon they will put trance on but dont expect it every month. |

The Works is a horrific cheese club. I doubt much will change.
I went to a Gatecrasher night there once (stumbled on it on a night out) - there were about 12 people there, and it wasn't exactly early. |

| I mean everyweek in birmingham 2001 we had godskitchen on friday and sudissential on saturday. Regular big nights seem to have dissapeared. |

There is not the market to support a big trance night every night at the same venue with the same people. it's not the late 90's early 00s anymore. If you look across the country pretty much every big trance night (new and old) is monthly. |

I was just watching Clubavision 1999 after googling Gatecrasher 1999 on youtube. After much nostalgia and alcohol i ended up here.
It is necessary to reminisce, those were very special times. Lots of magic, a bit like what your folks had back in the 60's maybe.
