Thanks for your comments. Your trance tuned ears are quite correct in their astute analysis that yes indeed, there isn't any trance ( apart from Avian, and thats a tenuous link) on there. I have been roadtesting it, though, and I think that every song on there, has a different style to the other tunes, which I am please about, as I don't actually think musically, in terms of genres, but in terms of good music.
As far as the pop comment goes, I put the tracklisting in such a way, that the first 4 tunes are catchy, vocal, have good chord struture, excellent melody, and a no frills approach to them, ie you can sing along to them. Doing an album over 12 tracks, from a complete unknown motherducker like myself, I thought it imperative to tracklist this way, in order to get people interested. It seems to have worked, because I am having excellent positive feedback from the whole album as it is listed.
I do love trance, more psy trance these days, so I thought I'd post here. Hope u don't mind !
