I left work at a ty job in a supermarket a couple of years back and they contined to pay me for another 7 months after I left.

They have never asked for the money back. So i've stolen about $2400 or £1200.

I've also stolen a few bags of cashew nuts in my time, but that's another story.

5 computers, laptop, pens, pencils, post its, paper, staplers, glue sticks, and various other office supplies.

I would say on average about $1,000.00 a year in items over 12 years.

Hmm!!

20 cartons of smokes when I had a job at a 7/11 (they were paying me 4 bucks an hour)

Nowa days i just take sheets of drywall and studs ..and such

Value? dont really care ..Its the perks of ty jobs:)

Similar situation here, to the tune of almost 10K.

I don't consider it stolen, I consider it a very generous severence.

Lucky bastids...how is this possible at that type of job? Your not punching a card to turn in every week?

that's impressive.

how did you manage the computers? in a store like that they'd be pretty high profile... id imagine anyway.

My work is autonomous...I prolly see my boss once a month. Maybe.

And I'm salaried, so no punching for me.

It was nice of them to fund my 3 month 'summer of George' sabbatical.

I work in an office....we get new computers all the time....if some happen to get liberated from the office when they are to be shipped to head office that isn't my fault.
