If your talking about for EDM, I am pretty sure that throwing an event in the tabby requires an event thats gonna sell 2600 tickets otherwise your talking about a loss. The venue is expensive to the promoter, everyone complains about ticketmaster fees, and the talent you book upcharges you for a higher capacity venue. All of those things make it where you want to know your going to sell out the place before you book it. |

| I hate that place. The floor is slanted and it's a 5 mile hike to each bathroom. |

| I've never been to the tabernacle for an edm show, but I love that place. The sound system is amazing, and every show i've seen there has been excellent. |

Exact same here, only the guys who run the boards don't make up for people who have not received damaged higher frequencies due to loud guitars. I never forget my plugs. |

Yeah, I forgot my plugs here one time and I thought my hearing was never going to be the same. Funny enough I've only been there like four times though. I haven't had a problem with it though. I usually check out the smaller bands at the Masquerade. I guess there are very few djs who could really fill that place. PVD was excellent there last year though. I know Tiesto sold out there in 2006, or I would have been there. |
